A couple days ago, my Netgear R6300 started to disconnect and turn off randomly. There are no flashing colors lights for me to troubleshoot with. It just turns off and back on again. The modem, which is the comcast xfinity Arris, is working fine from what I see and I even connected my old router, which is a Netgear G54 and it works just fine.
